Chinese Story 2016

The varied lives of the Chinese people of 56 different ethnicities being lived in this vast and richly endowed land with millennia of history are explored and brought into focus through our photographers’ lenses. The photos of the enchanting moments they captured are no less vivid and authentic renditions the “Chinese story.”

Organizers of this year’s “The Chinese Story” photographic exhibition received tens of thousands of entries submitted by more than 1,000 photographers from around the country. They tell real stories that explore the cultural, social and economic lives of the people that they live among and the immense natural beauty of the land unfailingly affirming the great endeavors in pursuit of the Chinese dream by men an women of this nation.

The images of this exhibition invariably reflect the perennial Chinese notion of “man and Nature being one,” a source of intellectual inspiration throughout the centuries. The Chinese people are committed as ever to partnerships with people around the world on their chosen path of peace and development, upholding the humanistic ideal and principle of “harmonious coexistence, mutual benefit and win-win,” destined to create even more captivating and inspirational future “Chinese Story.”
