A man and the Gulls, unbreakable ties: In 2001, there were no birds in the World Horticultural Expo Park in Kunming City, in Southwest China´s Yunnan Province. After a decade of concerted efforts by a local bird protection society and residentes, an increasing number of migrating gulls have settled here. As the waterscape administrator in the park, Gu Bing has been a witness to the ten years of mutual understanding and harmonization between human being and nature. An increasing number of people have joined the bird lover´s community and tightened the unbreakable ties between people and the gulls.
